My TOS  :

I am an 18 year old freshmen at Cypress College and i am being diagnosed with TOS. I have been playing softball for almost 13 years and it is one of the most enjoyable experience i have ever been involved in. I was in a car accident in July of 2003 and sufferd neck pain the pain would come and go. I continued playing softball a little too soon after and for college we practice a lot and work out and just the constant use of my arm began to be painful. I first went in for my elbow and it turned into being my entire arm. At a tournament for school i noticed i had a lot of pain in my arm and my wrist started to become a little weak so i stayed in there because i don't like to leave a game and when i came in the dugout to show my trainer we noticed my hand was swollen and numb. I still continued to play and it started to get worse and worse i had to see a doctor and he diagnosed me with TOS. I then was reffered to see a VAscular Surgeon and he told me that i was have to see a nurologist and go through physical therapy and he also said that i had to sit out for a full year. I wasn't too happy with that so the two doctors suggested that i see one of the best doctors in the nation to get a second opinion. But during this entire time i am unable to play softball until i get released from this doctor. It has been 2 1/2 weeks that I have been out and it is killing me inside. I am hoping everything comes out good not only for me but for all that suffer from this condition because it sucks. I want to give a special thanks to all my trainers that put up with me and give me all the support and care that I need to get through this it means a lot to me to know you all care if anyone wants to talk email me at starhollywoodsix@aol.com
