My TOS :
I am a Hair Dresser and approx 10 yrs ago I noticed my hands swelling, I could not press on a perm solution bottle to apply with out pain in my hands. My head felt heavy and My arm hurt. I had 3 carpal tunnel surgeries before a Dr at UCLA med Center told me what I "really" had. I had the surgery and quit doing hair. I quit working completly. My symptoms ceased but I was bored and misreable. I went back to doing hair and now my symptoms are back full blast and I am in pain all he time. My head feels too heavy for my shoulders, my hand is swollen, my head hurts and I cannot sleep on my right side at all without feeling severe pain. From time to time, I cannot elevate my arm at all. I survive now on Naprosyn during the day and Vicodan to sleep. This is a horribly painful disorder- esp for somene in my profession.
Roy Meals at UCLA found it!
