My TOS :
I was a high school swimmer and began to suffer my sophomore year with pain in both arms. I struggled with the pain and seeing many different dr's who did not know what to do with me. I had several rounds of PT and nothing helped. I finally saw a surgeon around my junior year and he stated that the problem would go away when I stopped swimming. It didn't. I have not swam for over 10 years and about two years ago the symptoms got worse. I had a baby and my symptoms are horribly. I am dropping things, I can barely hold a cup of coffee and can't do house work. I talked with my family dr earlier this year and we decided that it was time to pursue some course of treatment. I have been to see two vascular surgeons and am scheduled for surgery on 12/28/2004 in Denver Co with Dr Sanders. We are going to start with the right side first to see if removing the muscles helps. If anyone has advice please email me.
