My TOS  :

I injured my shoylder back in January of 1998, at first it just felt liek pulled muscles in my shoulder blade area, but 2 days later i was having severe pain that would radiate to my jaw and neck and give me bad headaches, so i then went to the doctor and was told various things that didnt make sense to me, then about a month later i began to feel the shooting pains to my fingers and elbow , all the while being on light duty at work and being hard headed and job scared i kept pushing myself to the limits, all the while injuring it more, but to make a very long story short , I began hurting so bad it would turn my stomach , so I then was taken off of work and did months of physical therapy and chiropractic, which didnt help at all, so i was then released to go back to modified work duty, driving a hot shot truck, which you all know driving doesnt help the situation. After doing that for 3 months and eating pain pills like candy , my right hand began to go limp on me, that day i went straight to the doctor and he took me back off work and said i needed to have surgery. Two weeks after hom telling me that I was under the knife having my first rib taken out , first rib resection, which did help the weakness of my right hand , but I am still left with constant pain in my shoulder , jaw , neck and arm , with headaches that last for days and now 6 years later I am starting to have the same pains on my left side, when will it ever end, just as I had finally learned to live with the pain in the right shoulder , its starting allover , the many sleepless nights and painful days, but no matter how bad it gets , I keep my head held high , well as high as I can that its.lol.I have a 3 year old daughter now and no matter how bad it hurts at times, I still find time to entertain her, I just take my pain meds and keep on going the best I can, slowing down from the lifestyle i use to live weas hard for me to do , I spent many days talking with a shrink and it did help..I'm still off of work , clasified as disabled , but one day I will go back to school and do someting that i can handle, but until thenm , I'm gonna enjoy every day I have with my little girl and force smiles even when i dont really feel like it, I won't let TOS get the better of me. Take Care and Keep Smiling....
