My TOS  :

About 2 years ago I injured my shoulder at work....I went thru extensive physiotherapy and went on reduced duties at work and at this time I was told it was tendonitis in my shoulder. I also had a neck x-ray done and just never heard back on the results. It never really got better and I just worked through the pain....gradually it got worse and I started getting "cramping" pain across my back between my shoulder blades, numbing in my hands at night and even pain into my hip...I went back to my doctor, he looked at the results of the x-ray from 2 years previous and informed me I had a Cervical rib that may be causing all the problems...the symptoms have worsened, trying to sleep at night is the worst, the cramping has worsened and now it has gone up my neck and is causing headaches, and now the numbness occurs through the day while im at work. Having to try to work through it is becoming unbearable. I am scheduled to have an M.R.I done in July to show if it has caused T.O.S. I have heard that there is a surgery that can be done to remove the rib which I will jump on the opportunity if it is offered, is there anyone who has had this surgery...and how were your results....anything is better than dealing with this pain!!!!!!Even physio isn helping much...but it feels good at the time but I need a permanent solution as I am still young and dont know how much longer I can deal with this. Does anyone know of any specialists in the Vancouver(pref Langley)area that they can reccomend?
