My TOS :
I was the victim of a horrific car accident in May 03. Since then I have had pain in my neck, severe headaches, numbness and tingling in my left arm and index and pinky fingers, numbness in my left cheek. A shooting pain down my left side into my arm. I also have pain in my left armpit. After numerous mri's, xrays, etc. No one has been able to come to a definetive diagnosis. I have been seeing a pain clinic for 4 months now, in Physical Therapy for 9 months with worse pain and symptoms, I am seeing a nuerologist who found me to have neuropathy and damage to the nerves in my left arm from the armpit down. I have severe vertigo (dizziness) now and have tested positive for Possible TOS. However I was given an mri of the brachial Plexus which came out negative no abnormalities. I don't know what to do. I am getting worse and it sounds like TOS is definately what I have. Any suggestions? What qualifies one for surgery? Does anyone know of a TOS Dr in the phila or southern NJ area?
