My TOS :
I was diagnosed with bi-lateral carpal tunnel and deQuer veins disease in 1998. I proceeded to have a right carpal tunnel release and deQuer veins surgery. The tingling, nubness and pain continued. I was referred to a Dr. in Houston that for months and years monitored, and tested before I then was diagnosed with TOS. I have had a left carpal tunnel release, arthoscopic surgery in my right shoulder also first rib recession. I am still suffering with major pain and depression. I am only 34 years old and was previously told that I would return to work 6wks after my 1st surgery in 1998. I am still of on disability and and now I have a worker's comp case that will only pay for wrist related injuries, due to the fact that I could have been diagnosed wrong from the beginning. My private insurance has to take care of everything else. I have pain in my shoulder, neck, arm, hand and headaches. All of my symptoms are always present, but they worsen with activity such as housework, driving, lifting ans stress. I have many concerns because good sleep is unobtainable . If anyone can relate or have answers please respond.
